How This Portfolio Works
Allocation and initial purchases
Your total starting investment is divided using the percentages you enter. Fractional units are purchased using each asset’s supported price at the common effective start. Allocations must total 100%.
Price histories and calculation dates
Stocks and ETFs use adjusted-price histories; crypto uses daily USD closes. Values are aligned to UTC day-end observations. Stock and ETF prices carry forward on weekends and exchange holidays while crypto continues to change.
Actual dates and cached data information for a completed result are shown below.

Returns, risk and no rebalancing
This is a one-time, buy-and-hold portfolio. Units remain fixed: no rebalancing or recurring contributions are applied. Fees and taxes are excluded.
Total Return measures the change from the starting investment. Annualized Return is portfolio CAGR over the effective calendar-day period. Maximum Drawdown measures the largest fall from a previous portfolio high. Average daily movement includes weekend carry-forward observations.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are allocations applied?
One total investment is split across the selected assets. For example, 50% of $10,000 allocates $5,000 to that asset. Equal Weight divides 100% across the current rows, with rounding adjusted so the total remains exactly 100%.
Why do ending weights change?
Assets grow or decline at different rates. Since this calculator does not rebalance, their final shares of total portfolio value can differ from the starting allocations.
How does this differ from Advanced Compare?
A portfolio divides one total amount among assets. Advanced Compare invests the full amount in each asset separately to compare alternatives. For recurring plans across separate assets, use Advanced DCA Compare.
